T.V. Casual Talk: The Secret Circle on The CW "We All Must Pay For the Sins of Our Fathers"

Thursday night's episode "Lucky" (March 15, 2012) have to say was a fantastic return since almost three weeks from the show. Faye and Lee realize that they may have some obstacles in their future relationship. While Cassie and Adam have an intense argument in this episode since the sins of their fathers causes doubt.

In Lucky (Season 1, Episode 16)

In the return of The Secret Circle Cassie believes what her dad tells her in having his suspicions about one of the member's of the previous generation of The Secret Circle betray them to the witch hunters by confiding in. Believing John, Cassie comes to the conclusion it might be Adam's dad. When Cassie confides in turn to Adam he's outraged she'd listen to John at all. Lots of tension comes between them! Oh, now on Faye and Lee, as we all previously saw Lee and Faye really starting to like each other last few episodes in The Secret Circle. Things really get complicated when Lee's old girlfriend re-awakens. Which started to wonder must have to do with magic from Faye since with her blood Lee did one in the episodes do something once. Lee now has to choose Faye or the girl he supposedly loved. Big admiring nod to Melissa who gives comforting advice to Faye on her relationship with Lee and Jake's obvious on-going infatuation with Cassie. Oh, and Diana might just move on from her relationship with Adam with the help of Grant a very handsome new guy played by Tim Phillips. Finally Cassie discovers the betrayer of John's generation of witches which is truly tragic. The sins of the father indeed!

                               Official CW Show Overview
Cassie Blake was a happy, normal teenage girl - until her mother Amelia dies in what appears to be a tragic accidental fire. Orphaned and deeply saddened, Cassie moves in with her warm and loving grandmother Jane in the beautiful small town of Chance Harbor, Washington - the town her mother left so many years before - where the residents seem to know more about Cassie than she does about herself. As Cassie gets to know her high school classmates, including sweet-natured Diana and her handsome boyfriend Adam, brooding loner Nick, mean-girl Faye and her sidekick Melissa, strange and frightening things begin to happen. When her new friends explain that they are all descended from powerful witches, and they've been waiting for Cassie to join them and complete a new generation of the Secret Circle, Cassie refuses to believe them - until Adam.

Revelations and Theories

1. Revelation:  It's revealed that Cassie and Adam's magical attraction is not just destiny but a curse by John!
Theory: From next week's scenes suggestion their ever growing relationship might cause birds and maybe life to wither to death. Which should hamper their budding relationship. Jake you might yet have a chance it seems! Do you think Adam/Cassie will last?

1. Revelation: Lee's girlfriend has witchy powers like The Secret Circle members. She does something weird to Lee and his appearance literally greys and looks rather dead. Hopefully he's not dead. Will be disappointing but still deeply trust the show's creators to keep coming up with entertaining future episodes.
Theory: Lee's girlfriend maybe future problems as in an antagonistic one. Also, Faye could have passed powers when Lee used her blood in the past which should have worked because Faye has a chance of being John's daughter giving her blood strong properties to give others magic as well. Speculating this though. Nothing is sure but one best guess. Do you think so?

Greatest Performances

Melissa (Jessica Parker Kennedy):

Throughout the episode she gave advice to Faye and Jake about their love lives. Faye who was feeling down by Lee's girlfriend returning and Jake who really loves Cassie but who's off with Adam. Melissa you're not appreciated enough! She's so nice!

Jake (Chris Zylka):

Poor Jake. You see a lot of him look after Cassie wistfully in this episode.

Cassie (Britt Robertson):

When she almost hit Ethan when he was down. While not a good thing was a huge expression of emotion, raw angry emotion. Glad she did the right thing in the end.

Lee (Grey Damon):

He actually turned down his old girlfriend he loved for Faye which means a lot for bad girl, Faye.

Grant (Tim Phillips):
Grant is such a charasmatic sounding guy! He seems to warm up to almost everyone and obviously likes Diana. Really interested in seeing more of him in The Secret Circle.
