The Soap Exchange Natural Peppermint Lip Balm Review

After using the peppermint lip scrub from The Soap Exchange I needed a lip balm to keep my lips moisturized, so I bought a lip balm from them as well.

On arrival, the order I received was incorrect. I ended up getting another peppermint lip scrub, so I had to contact them to get a lip balm sent to me. They were surprisingly polite about it and agreed. A relief, really since I wasn't sure what to do in a situation such as this when you make an order online and then get the wrong item sent. Thankfully they followed great customer service and accommodated me.

Then once I got the second package I wasn't too happy to see the lip balm wasn't a light pink color as I was expecting.

Hello 2016 and the Books I Shall be Reading

Currently Reading

I'm actually reading these simultaneously. Like the old days where I would read 3 or 4 books at a time.

Coming up Next for 2016

As per my tweet on Twitter Amazon has already shipped my copy of Born of Swords and I can't wait to see that show up in my mailbox. And want to know even better news? Wonder Book via Amazon has also now shipped my copy of Vengeance by Megan Miranda.

And I still can't believe it. I remember reading Fracture by Megan Miranda back in 2011 or was it 2012? and mentioning that I wanted to continue being in that world.

Born into a lineage of priestesses in modern day Glastonbury, England, Sharay's way is blocked by her jealous Aunt Phoebe, who uses black magic against her to steal her fortune and magical power. When Phoebe commits Sharay to a psychiatric ward and accuses her of murder, Sharay struggles with the temptation to fight Phoebe's vengeance with her own. Through the ancient Celtic ceremony of Beltaine, Sharay experiences profound sacred union with the Welshman Guethyn, who shows her how to open her heart. But Sharay must learn to transform her hatred for her aunt in order to claim the mystery held deep within her cells that will allow her to fulfill her destiny and prove that the ultimate magic is the power of love.

About Jodine Turner

Jodine Turner is a multiple award winning and best-selling author of Visionary Fiction, magical realism, and fantasy. While living in Glastonbury, England, the ancient Isle of Avalon, Jodine began writing the Goddess of the Stars and the Sea series about priestesses who have lived in Avalon throughout the ages to today. The series is an edgy saga of a young priestess who's reborn during three different critical junctions in history in order to help humankind move through fearful and bleak times--the demise of Atlantis, the Dark Age's suppression of the feminine, and today's turbulent world. Each novel in the series is a standalone read.

Jodine is a founding member of the Visionary Fiction Alliance. She is also an Adorata Practitioner in the spiritual path of embodying divine love, as well as a therapist, a consecrated priestess, and a deacon in the Gnostic Church of Mary Magdalene.

Jodine presently lives in Oregon with her husband Chris and their four magical cats who go by the code names of Mojo, Minnie, Pumpkin, and BigBoy.

A Free Kindle Book Alert! The Night Watchman Express by Alison DeLuca

Hi, guys! Time for alerts on free reads available on Amazon.com. Given my blogging since 2011 I have come across many, many self-published authors as well as small press authors and today I feature Alison DeLuca, author of a great Steampunk series called the Crown Phoenix series.

In my attempt to catch up with many of the authors who I stopped following due to my work on The Huge Anime Fan, I actually just now realized Alison DeLuca has released a fourth installment in her Crown Phoenix series called The South Sea Bubble. Needless to say, I'll have to catch up on that one. Not to mention I'll have to read The Lamplighter's Special which is the book that comes before The South Sea Bubble. But before then, good news, the first in Alison DeLuca's Crown of Phoenix Steampunk series is available for free on the Kindle Store. Get it! You totally want to trust me.

The Night Watchman Express (Crown Phoenix #1) by Alison DeLuca
An underground factory, a terrifying laboratory, and the eerie whistle of the Night Watchman Express…
Miriam has only her guardians' son for company, and she and Simon dislike each other from the start. But they must find a way to trust each other, or they will end up on the sinister Night Watchman Express.
