Book Tour: Review of Blood & Light by Rue Volley (The Blood and Light Vampires #1)

Book 1 in the The Blood and Light Vampire Series loved infinitely. Presenting a book review for the book tour. Blood & Light by Rue Volley. Still reading Smoke and Mirrors but it is really good too!
The review....

Rue Volley lives in the quiet little town of Calvary, Minnesota...nestled in the thick woods lining the great lakes. Rue, along with her brother Kai have lived an otherwise calm life up until their Mother was commited into Rolling River Asylum, after she mysteriously stopped speaking to anyone. Rue is convinced by her brother to attend a party on her birthday and after she experiences something that she cannot explain, she and everyone in her world is thrown into madness. Join Rue on this epic journey, 6 books in all, as she struggles with grief, love, humor, old crushes, new found infatuations, hot boys AND vampires, lots and lots of them.

This first book in the series starts you on a journey that you will find hard to ignore and once you start reading you will be hooked...or perhaps bitten."

                                                                          About Blood & Light
Rue has been deeply alone for a long time and her brother just wants to see her happy so he decides to get her to go to a party.  What happens next involves lots of power struggles along with uncontrolled attractions. If you are to read these books you'll become obsessed that is a promise! I'm reading Book 2, Smoke and Mirrors ( Need to get all the books!) and it's continuing some major energy charged and wickedly stunning fighting scenes. The Blood and Light Vampires are unlike any you'll ever meet. Rue, the main character is witty, at times shy, but really kick-ass. Big fan and of the cute and pretty boys involved in the story. There is so much happening because a situation can change in a moment's notice but you'll be wishing for more.

Fine review and I can see you love that book! I'm diggin the front cover as well, to tell the truth;).
You should check out the old Anne Rice books should you get a chance. They started pretty much everything in this genre.
