Brooke moves around a lot. But, there is always a family that moves around leaving friends and school behind.  But her life is anything but normal. As Brooke has finally started feeling at home , a deranged freak, comes to her boyfriend's home and tells her he'll kill him if she doesn't come along. Soon Brooke's mother tells her there are humans that live on blood with special abilities. Brooke might even be more like them than she thought.  Fantastic read that's fast-paced and the vampire myth doesn't get overplayed because it's different.  The romance was amazing. Many readers will be drawn to a certain vampire guy. You can be assured you'll get lost in this thrilling first book of the Descended by Blood series. Enjoyed a lot.
