#1 Comics/Manga Flashback Round

Within this blog post: Pariah Issue #1 by Aron Warner and Philip Gelatt, Pariah Issue #2 by Aron Warner and Philip Gelatt, and The Dreaming Vol. 1 by Queenie Chan

Hi there!
This is somewhat of a different blog post take. Having had an interest in comics/manga for a long time thought I'd be a good way to connect with other comic/manga fans. And or get some future reading recommendations. Yes, Need Recommendations.

Pariah Issue #1 by Aaron Warner and Philip Gelatt

Writer: Aron Warner, Philip Gelatt     Artist: Brett Weldele
Cover by: Pat Lee
Publisher: Sea Lion Books
Brent Marks is not a freak. He is one of the Pariah, a group of teens who become extremely intelligent after being cured of a genetic disorder. Although in most ways a normal teen, Brent is considered dangerous and is tracked down by the government who see these kids as an enormous threat. Can he evade them? What do they have planned for Brent and the others?

Pariah Issue #2 by Aaron Warner and Philip Gelatt

Writer: Aron Warner, Philip Gelatt     Artist: Brett Weldele
Cover by: Pat Lee
Publisher: Sea Lion Books
Why are the most elite black-ops forces chasing a 16-year-old girl across the country? Why can't they find her? And why do they want to kill her? Because they think Lila Ellerman is a terrorist who released a deadly virus into the wild. But really, she's just a girl with a crush on a guy named Brandon. Yes, she's figured out the science of controlling anti-matter, but that doesn't make her a criminal. Will she be able to protect her friends and keep them from being taken prisoner, or worse?

The Dreaming Vol. 1 by Queenie Chan
When twin sisters Amber and Jeanie are accepted into an exclusive Australian boarding school, their future looks bright. But the school's halls harbor a terrible secret: students have been known to wander into the surrounding bushlands and vanish...without a trace! No one knows where they went--or why. But as Amber and Jeanie are about to learn, the key to the school's dark past may lie in the world of their dreams...

  1. Pariah looks really good! I'm going to see if I can get my hands on a copy. I'm always interested in new graphic novels/manga. :)
