The third and final book in the paranormal teen series that includes The New York Times bestseller Wake and Fade.
We are taken into more of the story of Jennie who is a dream catcher. She has now learned to cope with her dehibilitating abilities. She has decided to use them for good purposes but she soon finds out can bring some unwanted side effects. Reality is a relentless slap. Along the way, Jennie must learn how to live with what is unknowns Gone stays true to previous novels of the Dreamcatcher's series (Wake series) with its catchy writing style by Lisa McMann. To describe it it would be telling us in bright spurts of what is happening surrounding the character at whatever point with the characters.
Thougt things ended sadly for Janie. We see that she has more issues to work out in her life. This last book closes up and resolves what Janie will do with her life. She makes a monumental decision. Gone is more emotional and not action-packed like Wake or Fade but manages to satisfy. It's ok, and a good end to The Dream Catcher's books. |
It's most assuredly never boring to read in any moment even if in this novel the pace did slow compared to the others in the series. Not as good as the previous books but is well-needed, so you can get a completion to the Wake series.
Overall: Good read
Genre: Young Adult, Paranormal, Romance
Contains: Complex Relationships, Mention of Alcoholic Parent Problems, Difficult Decisions
