Mako finding that Bolin has been missing looks to Korra for help which leads the Avatar to infiltrate the Equalists. And in most occasions Korra and Mako get thrown together! In the episode, we really see how Mako and  Korra though it seems likely they would never admit it work great together. They managed to discover the location of Amon's ( The leader of the Equalist movement) big revelation.
It really shows how a resourceful pair these two make and Mako isn't as stuffy as hfirst comes off as

At the big revelation rally not only Korra but also Mako and Bolin learn that Amon has a very dangerous power indeed to all benders.
A good episode. Have to say looking forward to the next one!

Music Side-note:
The music is something to highlight for all episodes when it comes to The Legend of Korra. It's very unique and well beautiful!
In this episode it had a oriental instrumental feel that was rather gloomy that fit with the episode being a serious one.
Added on many occasions accentuation to the events transpiring.

  1. I loved the original Avatar so much, it was like cartoon/Anime crack. I am so glad they decided to continue the story. Seeing some of the old characters and hearing their stories has been great.
