Book Blogger Appreciation Week 2012 and Day 1

This year marks the fifth Book Blogger Appreciation Week! I can hardly believe it, but I am so thankful to know that in five years of doing this book blogs haven’t gone away, but they’ve grown and become even more interesting, diverse, and meaningful. We have etched out a place on the landscape of literary discussion, and we are not going away!- Amy, the creator of BBAW

What will be happening @ Book & Movie Dimension a Blog

Monday: Appreciation! There are no awards this year, but it can still be hard to navigate the huge universe of book blogging. Share with your readers some of the blogs you enjoy reading daily and why.
Tuesday: Interview Swap
Wednesday: What does book blogging mean to you?
Thursday: One of the best parts about book blogging is the exposure to books and authors you might never have heard of before. Pimp the book you think needs more recognition on this day. Get creative! Maybe share snippets from other bloggers who have reviewed it or make some fun art to get your message across.
Friday: Share a highlight of this year’s BBAW. Whether it’s a blog you discovered or a book you’re going to read or a way you felt refreshed, this is the day to celebrate the week!

So it happens to be Monday. The blogs that happen to enjoy reading daily are quite a few. Although with me have a mixture of blogs that visit which range primarily in obviously book blogs, some anime blogs, and finally movie blogs.

In book blogs
Splash of Our Worlds: There are different bloggers on this blog who review not only book but also movies, anime, and just have some fun posts.

Also doesn't hurt that Yiota one of the most prominent bloggers of Splash of Our World s is very skilled in blog design and developing making the blog very visually good-looking.

I SMELL SHEEP: This blog has one of the biggest comics reviews available that are simply nicely done. Many varying author interviews of comics creators too.

Addicted to Heroines: One of the few book blogs that concentrates on Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance with a darker edge which I love.

NEW BOOKS ON MY SHELVES:  Lucie have to say really like interacting via her blog with. She's a nice blogger that gets back
to you and isn't afraid to find a book recommendation from you and actually go through with it.

Working For the Mandroid: A Scifi-orientated blog with some fascinating discussion on the literacy level with some television commentary thrown in.

Paranormal Wastelands:  A book blog for the Paranormal Romance book lover much like myself!

In Anime Blogs
Dub-Sub Anime Reviews: Mike's anime reviews can't compare to any blog have visited yet. They have so much depth and give you every detail about an anime to try.

Experiments in Manga: Ash has skill with delivering his latest news in finding new manga to read anime to watch.

In Movie Blogs
LeapBackBlog (Movies, TV, Games, Music, and Whatever): A movie blog that should be seen to more closely has a lot of movie reviews that help you make some good choices. After all one doesn't have time to waste on a bad movie. There are also t.v. show recommendations available.

These blogs are ones that each day look forward and think " I wonder what's up at the blogs today".

Just amazing blogs and my favorites.

Reviews: Are not given either positively/negatively based on compensation. Reviews are entirely out of speculative opinion. Put out for readers to ultimately make their decision on a book, movie, and or product. They are honest reviews based on opinion. And ultimately I would never falsify information or exaggerate, given I do not see a benefit in doing so.

Affiliate: The blog is monetized through Amazon's Affiliate Associates Program, YesStyle's Affiliate Program, and a few other programs best seen through the blog's ads. Every little purchase you make, makes, a huge difference to me as a blogger. Buying through the blog's links gives me a small percentage of commissions. I try exceptionally hard to make the links/ads as unintrusive as possible when viewed on the blog. If they are intrusive, I, do so apologize but still hope you can enjoy the actual written reviews.
