When Claire Miller turned eighteen all she wanted to do was celebrate her birthday, but after a night on the town with her best friend she awakes to a visitor she never expected. The rulers of her region, a vampire royal family, have chosen her to be turned as their new heir and vampire princess. Claire quickly discovers the royal family is not what they seem and that she has secrets in her past, she never knew existed.

Claire a teen girl lives in a society where vampires rule and actually respect humans. Although other regions not of where she lives would probably frown on her region's vampires. The vampires in her society require one thing though from humans: blood donations. During her visit to a blood donation center a most surprising thing happens. Claire would have to decide whether the vampire royalty in her society really need her for a good purpose or not.Claire has a very cheerful voice and doesn't try to let things get her down. She tries to be understanding in the situation she's been put that can seem frightening. Especially involving vampires. Many readers will enjoy the easy voice of the writing I'm sure.
Savor is a new vampire story concept with instances of interesting romance, and very mysterious hidden surprises. For Book 1, not bad did have really good enjoyable reading moments. A good read. Recommended.
