Good way for bloggers to socialize (love hearing from bloggers) in a way that is extremely easy: by recommending books (including comics and manga and even movie suggestions. Review links are encouraged when giving recommendations as well.

Nothing like Batman or hero comics like Avengers.
Manga
Nothing along the lines of Fruits Basket. More like The Dreaming by Queenie Chan or Claymore.
Movies
Any good comedy ones? Haven't watched one since early 2011. Guess into science fiction type movies or movies like Underworld which by the way Underworld: Awakening is coming out this month!

Reading Challenges
Goodreads.com was helpful in some of these but doesn't specifically pinpoint sub-genres in books. Makes me wonder if it did would be really much easier to find a book for your moods or tastes.
