A Movie Review: Speed (1994)

This movie is about a SWAT ace who becomes the object of a vendetta by a crazy bomber. What follows is a very desperate struggle to come out on top. It stars Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock as the main characters. It is a good movie to watch when you are tired of horror and romance but aren't too sure what to watch. It has become a forgotten film in recent times. I only found it, since the movie was on AMC .

Genre: Action/Adventure

A Movie Review: Faust: Love of the Damned (2001)

IMDb Overview:
A man sells his soul to the devil.

Faust: Love of the Damned is a very bizarre movie, yes, but is pretty good for what it is. A fair warning, the special effects for the monsters in this movie are pretty laughable. There are monsters which you would expect from the Horror genre. It is the story of a man who is filled with so much revenge that he makes a pact with, M, a mysterious white-haired guy who will give him his revenge on those who wronged him for his soul. What follows is a horrible nightmare because of his past choice with this mysterious man.

A Movie Review: A Walk To Remember (2007)

The first time I saw this I was at home. As you can tell,  was really bored. I came upon on my T.V. on TBS superstation the movie of 'A Walk To Remember'. As soon as  saw it, I was hooked. I felt such a lasting impact. It was so sad but romantic. I, of course, fell instantly in love with Shane West and Mandy Moore. I have to this day as of 2011 still see and look forward to movies and shows with them. They are on my awesome actor's pedestal. This movie can be easily compared to The Notebook, Titanic, The Time Traveler' Wife, and other romantic movies. Definitely worth a watch.

A Movie Review:The Curse of the Golden Flower (2006)

It' a film about Chinese royalty and how in this certain period they often assassinated each other to gain more control. It has love, intrique, betrayal, and family issues. All my favorite elements except family issues. I mean who likes that, right? LoL. If you are a movie fan of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon or Memoirs of a Geisha then you'll love this kind of movie. It has the actress of Memoirs of a Geisha, Gong Li.  The film is also well accentuated with beautiful props and backdrops. This is only a plus!

Review of Breath of Angel (The Angeleon Circle #1) by Karyn Henley

                                                     Overview
The stranger’s cloak had fallen back, and with it, a long, white, blood-stained wing.
When Melaia, a young priestess, witnesses the gruesome murder of a stranger in the temple courtyard, age-old legends recited in song suddenly come to life. She discovers wings on the stranger, and the murderer takes the shape of both a hawk and a man.

Angels. Shape-shifters. Myths and stories—until now.

About Breath of Angel (The Angeleon Circle #1)
Book 1 in the 'Angeleon Circle' by Karyn Henley is a well-versed story of one girl, Melaia, who feels her life is perfectly planned out in priestly duties but finds her life to be later complicated. Melaia  discovers a world that is both dangerous and intriguing. She is caught up in a bloody feud between two immortal brothers and angels. The land is caught in this feud and causes death for the world and nature.I'd label it an average attempt at a period fantasy. There are some good moments. The characters make for a pretty story. My final mark for this first novel is 3 out of 5. It's not bad, it's just ok.

Overall: Not too good, not too bad read
