McDonald's was recently in the news for their anime collab for The Devil is a Part-Timer! anime series but now they have a second collab with anime. They have teamed up with Studio Pierrot (Tokyo Ghoul) and Japanese illustrator Acky Bright!
In this anime collab you can get ahold of anime shorts paired with manga chapters. A total of 4 anime shorts and 4 manga chapters. WcDonald's on their website plans to release the anime shorts and manga chapters beginning February 26, 2024-March 18, 2024. Every Monday.
The anime shorts and manga chapters are accessible by scanning a code found on your McDonald's bag.
This is all in celebration of the release of their WcDonald's savory chili sauce, a sauce with a mix of ingredients such as ginger, garlic, and soy sauce with some heat from the chili flakes, that you can order for a limited-time with an order of 10-piece nuggets at McDonald's.
McDonald’s stated on the release:
