A Movie Review: Red Riding Hood (2011)

Red Riding Hood came out March 11, 2011 and it was a magnificent vision in paranormal fantasy movies. The director Catherine Hardwicke is also the creator of the Twilight films. The adaptation of Twilight novels by Stephenie Meyer. While Red Riding Hood is a paranormal fantasy much like Twilight it's entirely different. There are similarities like the guys fighting for the same girl but there is more suspense to this film. I was always wondering who the baddie was and there is a bad guy. It's completely unforeseen.

Red Riding Hood is based on a book to of the same name. The adaptation was better created than the Twilight books to movie. While I took a careless liking to The Twilight Saga books but hated the movies, Red Riding Hood was really welcome. With a unconventional werewolf myth it's a pretty great take from other werewolf films shows in the past. The ending which was surprising left you thinking.

If you haven't seen this movie and weren't sure whether to watch it then you can be sure it's not going to be a flop. Actors that star in it are Amanda Segfried as Red Riding Hood. Her love interest is played by Shiloh Fernandez. Produced by beloved actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
