Review of The Named by Marriane Curley
Overview
Fantasy unlike most. Interconnecting lives of those with incredible powers that must unite against time's greatest enemy.
About The Named
A story of Ethan and Isabel who have these unique abilities. They guard time from disorder. Yet, they soon learn their involvement is more complicated than that. The first in a trilogy. A nice fantasy novel with a new creative concept. Let anything out the window and just let it fall into place. Liked it a lot, and would recommend.
If you like fantasy novels of a new type. A book with well-developed characters, then, The Named, does a good job.
Overall: Good read
Genre:Young Adult, Fantasy, Science Fiction

Review of New Moon by Stephanie Meyer
Overview
Bella's worst fears are realized. She was always believed she will be with Edward but things go for the worst. He claims to no longer love her much less be with her.
Bella struggles to cope with Edward's disappearance. All the while her life has grown into something unrecognizable. From Twilight leaves into what is the complex vampire world. Edward having professed his love for Bella can't help but feel worry over her. A new discovery in Forks, WA nobody expected comes out. Vampire politics can be extremely dangerous in the second book of the Twilight saga.
About New Moon
Starts out like any other day. It slowly evolves into Bella's most dreaded scenario. There is a new boy in town who isn't Edward Cullen. Bella must venture out to great risks for the love she wants. Readers would be teeming with worry at Bella's behavior. New Moon has a darker view into the world of vampires. A vampire story with bittersweet romance and suspense. Filled with a struggle for love. And of course, I was always rooting for Bella.
Overall: Good read
Genre: Young Adult, Fantasy

Review of Captivate by Carrie Jones
Overview
Zara feels confused between who she is as a human. Her father talks of a new king who wants to take over the pixies. Zara starts to take to her nature of birth. Nick isn't at all happy with all the changes. YA relationships collide among a supernatural backdrop.
About Captivate
Felt it was filled with more action and change than Need. Seems to be getting better. Zara seems to start becoming more independent. Love my heroines with strength and some presence. My love for this is growing to that of the Mortal Instruments and Infernal Device's series. Perfect in my eyes. You'll enjoy it if you, love books of the paranormal/supernatural type. Has major action and romance to keep one's attention.
Overall: Amazing read!
Genre: Young Adult, Fantasy

Current Reads
Well, if you don't already know I'm an avid reader. Reading is a constant thing for me. I usually read 1 or 2 novels a week. I read not one but several books at time. Why you ask? Well, to keep things interesting. That and the amount of books available in the world. I just want to read them all. It's not possible but a person can dream. Books I want to give a heads up for is.
The Nine Lives of Chloe King by Liz BraswellRadiant Shadows by Melissa Marr
Lord of the Flies by William Golding
posts for
I chose the The Nine Lives of Chloe King to read since it's now a TV show on ABC Family at 9pm on Tuesdays. Love the show. It has a nice Science Fiction feel to it. Radiant Shadows because of the connection to Wicked Lovely series. Melissa Marr has a compelling way of writing Paranormal Romance so I really enjoy reading her books. Lord of the Flies because I felt guilty I'm reading too much Fantasy/Fiction books but also I'm going to be reading Michael Grant's Science Fiction books in the Gone series. So, I've heard they have a no-adults-kids go wild element. As soon as I finish reading I'll post individual book review posts for them.

Future Reads: Demon Underground by S.L. Wright
A book author debut to a fiction writer that has honestly caught my eye. Here is an excerpt from her( the actual author). Oh yes, she's a she, "I’ve lived in New York City for almost twenty-five years, and I’m still surprised by the things I see. So when I decided to write an urban fantasy novel, I knew I had to set it here. I’ve climbed across rooftops and explored the tunnels – I’ve gone places most people don’t go because I trap feral cats for the city and get them fixed and return them. They take care of the rodents to keep them from eating the underground wires. I loved the idea of a demon underground, a group of demons who live off people in the city. There are so many people bumping around together here that it would be easy for them to touch their prey and absorb their emotions. My demons are emotional parasites, and they each have an emotion they desire most. Allay, my heroine, is drawn to relief. So she became a bartender to help spread a little relief among her patrons. I think we all have a little demon in us. We all find people who give us what we need, we feed off certain situations. Maybe that’s why people like my demons."- S.L. Wright
Wow I gotta say her ispiration for writing this series is amazing! It sort of delves into the people's inner depths. I have always had a large interest in Fiction books and this author should be a nice addition. Hey guys, I hope you think so too. Authors today aren't as creative as Ms. Wright. Her inspiration never stops from impressing me. Her first book I hope to read soon and then go to her next book. She seems to have two books out right now. Good, for me I love reading a long well developed series. It sort of makes you feel a instant connection to the characters. From the looks of it S.L. Wright will soon become one of my favorite writes along with Richelle Mead, Becca Fitzpatrick, Melissa De La Cruz, Lili St Crow, and other Top New York Betselling Fiction writers. S. L. Wright seems like a down to Earth writer and I like writers that sort of reveal the details of how their books came to be. So I'll be soon getting myself an ebook for my laptop with Confessions of A Demon by S.L. Wright written on it.
I can't wait to discover this new author's writing style.

Ah, yes. With it being Friday. We're are only two days away from the hot vampires Eric and Bill. The witches are looking scary as the crazy horned goddess in Season 3. Bloody Bookaholics ARC Giveaway of Original Sin
Luc Cain was born and raised in Hell, but he isn’t feeling as demonic as usual lately—thanks to Frannie Cavanaugh and the unique power she never realized she had. But you can’t desert Hell without consequences, and suddenly Frannie and Luc find themselves targeted by the same demons who used to be Luc’s allies.
Left with few options, Frannie and Luc accept the protection of Heaven and one of its most powerful angels, Gabe. Unfortunately, Luc isn’t the only one affected by Frannie, and it isn’t long before Gabe realizes that being around her is too…tempting. Rather than risk losing his wings, he leaves Frannie and Luc under the protection of her recently-acquired guardian angel.
Which would be fine, but Gabe is barely out the door before an assortment of demons appears—and they’re not leaving without dragging Luc back to Hell with them. Hell won’t give up and Heaven won’t give in. Frannie’s guardian exercises all the power he has to keep them away, but the demons are willing to hurt anyone close to Frannie in order to get what they want. It will take everything she has and then some to stay out of Hell’s grasp.
And not everyone will get out of it alive.
