Dragons exist. They’re ferocious. And they’re smart: Before they were killed off by slayer-knights, they rendered a select group of eggs dormant, so their offspring would survive. Only a handful of people know about this, let alone believe it – these “Slayers” are descended from the original knights, and are now a diverse group of teens that includes Tori, a smart but spoiled senator’s daughter who didn’t sign up to save the world.

The Vampire Shrink in Monster Mash & Bash Hop
Halloween giveaway at Stacy Juba's blog! - Hardcover copy of the British version of The Vampire Shrink by Lynda HilburnDenver Psychologist Kismet Knight just wants a little excitement in her life. A little publishing fame and fortune. She doesn’t believe in the paranormal. Especially not comic book children of the night. But when a new client pulls Kismet into the vampire underworld, and introduces her to gorgeous Devereux — who claims to be an 800-year-old vampire — Kismet finds herself up to her neck in the undead. Not to mention all the other bizarre creatures crawling out of Denver’s supernatural Pandora’s Box. And if being attracted to a man who thinks he’s an ancient bloodsucker isn’t bad enough, someone — or something — is leaving a trail of blood-drained dead bodies. Enter handsome FBI profiler Alan Stevens, who warns her that vampires are very real and that one is a murderer. A murderer who is after her. In the midst of it all, Kismet realizes she has feelings for both the vampire and the profiler. But though she cares for each of the men, the reality that vampires exist is enough of a challenge . . . for now.
Giveaway from Full Moon Bites Giveaway - A Scent of Greek by Tina Folsom
When the god of wine and ecstasy, Dionysus, callously dumps his latest conquest, the mortal Ariadne, the goddess Hera has had enough. She robs Dionysus of his memory to teach him a lesson in humility.
Ariadne is deeply hurt after Dionysus dismisses their night of passion as “just sex” and doesn’t want to see her anymore. When she finds him bloodied and beaten and suffering from amnesia, she quickly forms a plan to get back at him. As she pretends to be his fiancée, Ariadne makes Dionysus believe he loves her. But the longer the charade continues, the more difficult it becomes to really see who teaches whom a lesson.
And what if Dionysus gains his memory back? Will there be hell to pay for her deception, or can a mortal woman truly win a god’s love?
For Review:
For Book Tour Review of Simon & Schuster / Gallery Press - Brooklyn Story by Suzanne Corso
From Suzanne Corso, a coming-of-age story about a teenage girl growing up in 1970s Brooklyn who falls in love with a handsome aspiring mobster.
From Netgalley - The Gathering Storm (Katerina Alexandrovna, #1) by Robin Bridges
St. Petersburg, Russia, 1888. As she attends a whirl of glittering balls, royal debutante Katerina Alexandrovna, Duchess of Oldenburg, tries to hide a dark secret: she can raise the dead. No one knows. Not her family. Not the girls at her finishing school. Not the tsar or anyone in her aristocratic circle. Katerina considers her talent a curse, not a gift. But when she uses her special skill to protect a member of the Imperial Family, she finds herself caught in a web of intrigue.
An evil presence is growing within Europe's royal bloodlines—and those aligned with the darkness threaten to topple the tsar. Suddenly Katerina's strength as a necromancer attracts attention from unwelcome sources . . . including two young men—George Alexandrovich, the tsar's standoffish middle son, who needs Katerina's help to safeguard Russia, even if he's repelled by her secret, and the dashing Prince Danilo, heir to the throne of Montenegro, to whom Katerina feels inexplicably drawn.
The time has come for Katerina to embrace her power, but which side will she choose—and to whom will she give her heart?
Finally Glow arrived and Slayers came very early. When buying go with Amazon.com first if you live in the U.S. because even though the Book Depository ships free their prices can be higher. At Amazon.com, found Glow and Slayers for great low prices in pretty much NEW condition. Sometimes, though Book Depository has the lower book price, so it's really just important to compare. Thanks for stopping by at In My Mailbox. What do you think of the books? Go ahead and leave your links to yours too.

I am so back and forth on Glow. I want to read it, but then I'm not sure. I'll be curious to see what you think :0)
I also want to read it but don't whether to start because don't want to if it's not good or if it's good then I'll be completely done with it.
Great IMM and thanks for visiting mine. I'm sorry I don't always leave a comment on yours, my work computer (for some reason only known to the county's tech guys) won't let me comment on blogs, so I'm glad I looked at yours at home, when I could!
