Entertainment Weekly confirms this is happening according to a New York Times interview with Sean Bailey, President of Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production when talking about upcoming live-action projects.
Hocus Pocus 2 broke records when it comes to the Nielson Top 10 streaming charts taking home the largest opening weekend with 2.7 billion minutes viewed following its September 30 premiere. Not only that the Disney+ movie became the most watched original film for Disney+ over the first three days of release.
Though not all original characters were featured in Hocus Pocus 2 for Hocus Pocus 3 actors, Omri Katz, and Vinessa Shaw as in Max and Allison might return, screenwriter Jen D'Angelo hinted.
For Hocus Pocus 3, Anne Fletcher who directed Hocus Pocus 2 and Jen D'Angelo will both come back to work on the project.
