Klarna Pay in 4 Review

Today I talk about Klarna. A Fintech company that is changing how people pay. A few weeks ago I even received a notification on my phone that they had passed a huge number of U.S. customers and, of course, that's good for Klarna.

More importantly this means great strides for Buy Now, Pay Later services when you take into account Amazon.com has legitimized it with their partnership with Affirm.

With all the good news I thought it would be a good idea for me to talk about my experience with Klarna my favorite of all Buy Now, Pay Later services. A darling for me, in fact.

What I like about Klarna is how well-designed the app is. Klarna is available on a few stores online but many stores aren't partnered with it so it's best to get the Klarna app and get an account with them. You need a phone number and after that it is about authenticating with them. Afterwards you type in the url or pull up the store if they're on the app and log in, then when you are about to make your purchase go down and click the pay with Klarna it pulls up all the information you need to know, how much you need for your purchase which should include the total of shipping and tax, then what I find so innovative is the process of the one-time card by Klarna which shows as getting made (digitally) if it gets approved it will pop up, and you have your card which you can then add into your order to make your purchase. Klarna pays in full right there and then. You'll get charged the first in the pay in 4 installments right off but it won't show until the next day as it processes.

Update! Feedburner email subscriber list moving to Mailchimp

Notification post to readers of my blog.

Google yet again as with Google + has decided to discontinue Feedburner which is where I had my email subscriber list. Can’t comprehend why since it was such a useful service but as such I have begun importing everyone’s email and the new email service should arrive in your email inboxes very soon. If you get an email from Book & Movie Dimension a Blog from Cassandra. That’s me.

Might be a bit haphazard because honestly don’t like it and will have to get used to using Mailchimp which seems more clunky, but bear with me!

TK from Ling tosite sigure to start a fan club and to release a Greatest Hits album called Egomaniac Feedback

With 10 years into his solo music career, TK of Japanese Rock band Ling tosite sigure has had quite the prolific years making music and is preparing to celebrate his 10th year solo music anniversary. In line with his 10th year anniversary he has announced a new greatest hits album titled Egomaniac Feedback to release October 13, 2021. The feedback a reference to his penchant for feedback in his music when he plays his electric guitar.

More importantly, TK is planning on beginning a fan club: pre-opening August 13, main opening in October 2021. While most big music artists usually have one, TK, was rare for choosing to forego fan clubs. That has changed. While it is unknown why he would choose to start a fan club now when you take into account how long he has been making music, more if you take into account his Rock band's music this is certainly a natural progression for his music career, his popularity has grown quite a bit in the last few years, and many foreigners from Germany, France, the USA (places like Texas), England, and even places like Mexico have begun to listen to his music.

Hello Mobile cell phone service Review

As a blog where I often enjoy recommending products or services for value shoppers, Hello Mobile, is a service that fits in line with that. Since starting this blog in 2011 I have always been a value shopper and that hasn't changed even now. I still am. And there's one thing many people could be saving on and they don't. Partly because they aren't aware, partly because for some it's easier to stay with what is comfortable. Their cell phone bill. Sorry to say but the major cell phone companies are literally ripping you off with service that doesn't differentiate itself in any way. Cell phone service is the same from one to the next and you having to pay more makes zero sense. It's just overpriced.

All that said. There are options. Nowadays online if you do your research a lot of online-only cell phone providers provide their service available for you at a lesser cost with the only thing needed from your part is an unlocked phone. Unlocked phones though require an upfront cost so you would have to pay for something right there and there but if you really think about it over the long-term that adds up to a lot of money on return for you. Money you can use elsewhere. Not only that but once you have an unlocked phone you can take it everywhere. From one provider to the next.

I was pretty excited about Hello Mobile. I seriously just compared them among other online-only service providers and when I finally got my SIM card kit everything worked out as they said it would. You have to install the SIM inside your phone, mine was a smartphone, and then instantly it connects to the network. Your phone will show the Hello Mobile network on the screen. Of course, don't forget to activate it with a call but it's automated so yeah. It's like the easiest install ever.

A Movie Review—Jojo Rabbit

Director: Taika Waititi  Writers: Christine LeunensTaika Waititi

IMDb overview: A young boy in Hitler's army finds out his mother is hiding a Jewish girl in their home.

Months back, I'm sure some of you might have seen in this post my excitement for the Jojo Rabbit movie trailer. I'd been literally obsessing about Jojo Rabbit and wanting to see this movie for so long but couldn't.

There was just too much day to day on top of work, that so much time passed that it seemed I would never see this. But then covid happened in March 2020 and it gave me a much needed breather from the unhealthy rapid pace in place for so long.

What drew me to Jojo Rabbit was how adorable the little boy, Jojo, in the movie trailers looked. And, of course, if Scarlett Johansson is in a movie I'm there. I consider her one of the top actors of our times.

2021

I'm sure by now many people realize since the events of January that choosing to vote for someone unqualified carries with it a high price. Part of me was not at all surprised by what occurred January 2021.

As those of you who have been with me know, part of my disenchantment with blogging was that it got to a point that I wasn't sure who my readers were. Seemingly overnight I realized there are many people who are filled with hate toward immigrants, believe in religion which as a believer in Science is preposterous to me, and believe climate change is a hoax. Because Texas having such a drastic Winter today totally makes sense. That said, don't get me wrong I don't hate religion and religious people but I do think religious people are misguided and come off as crazy.

I might lose readers for this but I don't care, I believe strongly in justice and for me politics is serious because it affects every part of our lives. We can't ignore issues like these especially when the income inequality gap has gotten out of hand, one that if you look closely affects certain groups more than others.

I look forward to blogging this year on here and I do it because I know there are some of you in liberal states and liberal local regions. But honestly, if I lose some of you that might be for the best. I don't want to have anything to do with conservative scum.
