When TK announced his book Yureru I was not sure what to think. I was completely taken by surprise. Ordinarily I do not like surprises but I like TK surprises.  

Once I began reading I could not stop reading. Partly from the sensation of fuzziness I got while reading no different than when I consume TK's music. Getting to see such vulnerable aspects of Toru penguin and how funny TK can be was a delight.

I think it had been over a year since I had last had a brand new notebook to jot down my ideas on whether it was long-term goals, day goals, or monthly plans. But I finally was able to get a new one. Finding a tasteful one was hard. Something I find surprising given I figured I would be able to pull up tons and tons of online shops that sold notebooks with beautiful designs. But that is hardly the case. Notebooks with interesting designs are pretty rare. But thankfully I finally found one thanks to Papier. Or at least, something that appealed to me. Papier also allows you to customize your notebook, a feature I had never done before so I figured I would try it for the very first time. My personlized lettering was like there is tomorrow from a song that made me a superfan of my favorite Rockstar, TK from Ling tosite sigure.

Yureru which means shake in Japanese or could be interpreted as rock, sway, or shiver is a book about TK's personal life and his music philosophy. His upcoming book is especially surprising given Toru is not known to be much of a reader. Not only that TK chose to write his own life account instead of outsourcing it to someone else which would classify it as a biography. Instead you are getting an autobiography by TK who set off time to write this which obviously must have taken time away from his music-making.

It is something that I had not seen before so I figured to start one since I wanted a place I could talk about TK without the toxicity of sites like Last.fm and Reddit. Which are not made for expression nor discussion when things are driven by majority opinion. You cannot really express yourself or have an open, civil discussion if people feel the need to attack others or downvote you based on an upvote/downvote system. While social media is not a great place for fandom either since discussions really do not start there. Usually people only leave brief comments and that is that.

TK from Ling tosite sigure to start a fan club and to release a Greatest Hits album called Egomaniac Feedback

With 10 years into his solo music career, TK of Japanese Rock band Ling tosite sigure has had quite the prolific years making music and is preparing to celebrate his 10th year solo music anniversary. In line with his 10th year anniversary he has announced a new greatest hits album titled Egomaniac Feedback to release October 13, 2021. The feedback a reference to his penchant for feedback in his music when he plays his electric guitar. 

More importantly, TK is planning on beginning a fan club: pre-opening August 13, main opening in October 2021. While most big music artists usually have one, TK, was rare for choosing to forego fan clubs. That has changed. While it is unknown why he would choose to start a fan club now when you take into account how long he has been making music, more if you take into account his Rock band's music this is certainly a natural progression for his music career, his popularity has grown quite a bit in the last few years, and many foreigners from Germany, France, the USA (places like Texas), England, and even places like Mexico have begun to listen to his music. 

TK from Ling tosite sigure announces mini album and acoustic sessions compilation album

 TK surprises with 2 new music releases due out April 14, 2021. TK had previously in Spring of 2020 released his fourth full-leghth album, Sainou meaning color brain. 

Yes World, mini album, comes in 2 editions one limited edition with luxurious packaging including Blu-ray and the regular edition in CD. 

The acoustic sessions compilation album, on the other hand, is set to release only in limited edition with CD+ blu-ray in luxurious packaging. 

White Noise by TK from Ling Tosite Sigure Music Album Review

I had promised myself I wouldn't be excited for White Noise but when the time came, I was still filled with this uncontrollable giddiness.

Which is why we have this review. I am always skeptical of any potential music releases by any and all musicians and singers. The difference here being I trust TK. I know whatever he does I am ready to think it will be amazing even if when I listen I may discover otherwise and be disappointed.

What I love about White Noise is how from the start TK was dripping tenderness in his voice. His music, of course, is such a difficult thing to comprehend but this too was on the same wavelength as his singing. But the highlight, the lyrics, I definitely get the sense a lot of care was taken with the lyrics. Which is good I care about the lyrics. 

It was utterly magical. How each song was cohesive but at once different. How as I listened to Addictive Dancer I was picturing a swirling vortex. Probably in white. How I was happily shocked by Showcase Reflection and how Metal it sounded. Ha! Take that Ling Tosite Sigure fans. This is what Metal or hardcore music would sound like by either Ling Tosite Sigure or TK from Ling Tosite Sigure. Everything before was obviously Rock. Sorry but some of TK's and Ling Tosite Sigure fans piss me off.

But back to Showcase Reflection. While Metal it still sounded like TK. I don't know, I guess, I appreciated he was willing to dabble in it. It impressed me.

And the closer, invalid phrase. How much noise it had! Which I am guessing is the connection to the album's title, White Noise. Yes, well, that noise is what was making me get euphoric back in the Secret Sensation (like there is tomorrow) mini album release. Yes. I do think invalid phrase was a good way to end the album. In a flirty but inciteful manner coupled with TK's penchant tenderness. 

As to were I, to be asked if TK's White Noise is innovating music. My answer would have to be. I don't know. When it comes to, TK music, genre blurs entirely and if I can't distinguish genre how could I say with certainty. Not only that but I'm no music fan or music aficionado, I just listen to music and hand out my observations.
