Overview
Zara is at the center of an impending apocalypse. True, she’s successfully rescued Nick from Valhalla, but it simply isn’t enough. Evil pixies are ravaging Bedford, and they need much more than one great warrior; they need an army. Zara isn’t sure what her role is anymore. She’s not just fighting for her friends; she’s also a pixie queen. And to align her team of pixies with the humans she loves will be one of her greatest battles yet. Especially since she can’t even reconcile her growing feelings for her pixie king . . .
Unexpected turns, surprising revelations, and one utterly satisfying romantic finale make Endure a thrilling end to this series of bestsellers.
It’s all-out war (and no-holds-barred romance) in the climactic conclusion to Carrie Jones’s bestselling series.

Last in Entice (Need #4), Zara had to turn Pixie and Astley who find wonderful and sweet (besides also being good-looking) gladly turned Zara into his Pixie Queen. Zara also finally saved Nick (her werewolf boyfriend) who now in Endure seems to feel rather uncomfortable with Zara's new pixie change. Nick found extremely annoying in this book. He was so concerned about Zara being "different". Zara obviously can tell that Nick isn't ok with her new species change although Zara does try to make things like the old days before he was taken to Valhalla but it never seems to be enough. So, Astley tries throughout to comfort Zara over her misery caused by Nick's distance. Zara's love life isn't only at stake but also the lives of many humans. To keep people safe Zara, Astley, Nick, and Izzie have to stop the evil pixies from ending the world by releasing Loki. Though ending the world doesn't really matter to the evil pixies as long as they destroy all humans. Those evil pixies really suck. To stop them Zara has to really think and step up to become a leader to obtain help for the fight against the evil pixies led by evil rogue pixie king Frank and Isla (Astley's mom as well as a former Pixie Queen). Some of the help is by can you believe it, humans! Zara believes humans should have the right to defend themselves against the supernatural. So, she believes spreading the reality of Evil pixies through the internet is a good idea from blogs to Twitter that way people are aware of the danger heading their way. So many things happened and one in particular turn made me almost have a heart attack (well of shock) concerning Astley. Kept thinking no, Astley! Why? Though won't reveal it for you.
In Endure, as a fan of the Need series was looking forward to the romance between Astley and Zara. With Endure rest assured you get what have been looking for if you're a fan of King Astley. For this blogger, had a truly fantastic end.
Now hoping someday, if possible, Carrie Jones will do something like a spin-off series much like Julie Kagawa is doing with the Iron Fey: Call of The Forgotten which is a spin-off from the Iron Fey series since the Need series has always been one of the particularly fantastic Paranormal Romance series out there.

About the Author
The Meyers brothers are from Bedford, too, so you’d think it would make Carrie funnier, coming from Bedford N.H. Obviously, something didn’t work.
Carrie has a large, skinny white dog and a fat cat. Both like fudgicles. Only the cat likes potatoes. This may be a reason for the kitty’s weight problem (Shh… don’t tell). Carrie has always liked cowboy hats but has never owned one. This is a very wrong thing. She graduated from Vermont College’s MFA program for writing. She has edited newspapers and poetry journals and has recently won awards from the Maine Press Association and also been awarded the Martin Dibner Fellowship as well as a Maine Literary Award.

Carrie Jones likes Skinny Cow fudgsicles and potatoes. She does not know how to spell fudgsicles. This has not prevented her from writing books. She lives with her cute family in Maine, but she grew up in Bedford, NH where she once had a séance with cool uber-comedian Sarah Silverman.
