A Movie Review: Love and Other Drugs (2010)

An eclectic but cute romantic drama. Eclectic because the film's title puts you completely off. The file makes you wonder if it's any good or what. For this instance, the film shouldn't be judged on it's name. The beginning starts out in a hilarious manner. All in thanks to Jake Gyllenhal. He is both funny and charismatic. The story of these two is the type of gjrl-meets-boy but with a complete plot twist. Gives you a look into the way people who have love ones with illnesses suffer.Anne Hathway the lead along with Jake Gyllenhal have a surprisinglyly perfect chemistry.

Very sad in certain moments of the film add to it being romantic as Gyllenha's character has to cope with the illness of the one he loves. Hardly any films are as intense as Love and Other Drugs which is one of the intense, lovely but fun movies out there. Overall worth a watch.

I was in a relationship like this, and I actually went to go see this film with that person. There we're moments when we looked at each other and though, "That's us." WE can change. Maybe, make it work? Truly a a sad yet honest movie.
Thanks for the review!
