1. Kelly, when did you guys all decide to create the writing collective the Nine Naughty Novelists? And what can you recall from that time?

Erin and Kate had the idea to start a group blog where we would help promote each other's books. They put out a call on our publisher's loop for others who were interested. We were all published with Samhain Publishing. It ended up being a group of nine. We brainstormed for days over the name of the blog, then the look of the blog and how things would work. It was so much fun to be part of a group of authors like that and ended up being so much more than just a group blog.

2. My first real question Kelly is what was it like writing the first more intimate scenes between Rock and Buffi in The Zillionaire Vampire Cowboy's Secret Werewolf Babies?

Gosh, it's hard to remember back then! I remember it was so fun to use all the clichés I would normally try to avoid, like the woman who’s had a baby self-conscious about her changed body, and the purple prose euphemisms like “throbbing manroot”, “dewy nectar”, “bower of bliss” and some crazy ones like “tallywacker” and “love spuds”. It’s making me smile all over again!

3. Do you usually write more of the sexy scenes in books by the Nine Naughty Novelists or is it evenly distributed by all of you?

I think I did write most of them, if not all of them. [Symbol] Probably because I like writing hot sex scenes! It was fun writing sex scenes that were in some ways similar to what I write (as in, very hot!) but different because I could use words I normally wouldn’t.

4. Could we seeing more books under the name the Nine Naughty Novelists?

We don’t have any collaborations planned among the nine of us, as some are too busy for that. But there are various collaborations happening between a few of us. PG Forte, Kate Davies and I are working on a series set in a California vineyard.

5. What are you currently working on in writing, Kelly?

Right now I’m working on book 2 of my new series which will be called the Last Shot series. It’s about three former Navy SEALs who now own a tequila bar in San Diego. Book 1 is Body Shot and will be out late 2016.
